Ophelia, eldest princess of Windermere, fell for the knight Kalen who saved her—never knowing he was the Black Wolf King, using her only to get close to her half-sister Isolde. When the royal family must send a princess to marry the dragon prince sealed in the Abyss, Ophelia volunteers in her sister's place, arming herself with half a knight order and a vast fortune. She saves a dying little black dragon, Aur—actually the dragon prince—and heads into the Abyss.
