After twenty years guarding the border, Catherine returns to find nanny Evelyn squatting in her manor. Reclaiming it, she uncovers the White Robe cult's plot—Evelyn poisoned her mother Ada. With hunter Leo and alchemist Martha, Catherine breaks her seal, defeats Evelyn, repairs the holy seal, and opens a shop called "Ada and the Sun," finding home at last.
